The FCAC invites all PDC #14 Contractors, Business Agents, FCAC Associate Members and Golf Sponsors for a spectacular day of fun at the impeccably-manicured Schaumburg Golf Club. Guests enjoy great prizes, delicious food, ample refreshments, and camaraderie with Industry peers! The profits from this event enable the FCAC to make a charitable donation to an organization in need.

We celebrate the culmination of the 3-year apprenticeship program with the annual graduation ceremony, marking the transition from Apprentice to Journeyperson status.

The Safety and Training Awards Recognition (STAR) Program is an ongoing effort of Painters’ District Council #14 and its employer partners, Chicago FCAC, and MWCC, working through the DC14 Apprenticeship Program to create incentives for Journeypersons to pursue Safety Training and Continuing Education within the Union workforce. This helps maintain us as the most highly-skilled and sought after workforce in the Finishing Trades!

FCAC hosts an annual trade show affording Associate Vendors the opportunity to display a sampling of their goods and services to Contractors and Union guests. This is a very popular event and never fails to draw a big crowd. Gift raffles and cash prizes add to the fun and FCAC Contractor Members may participate in a 50/50 Rebate Program making this evening a win-win for Associate and Contractor Members alike!

Each October the FCA of Chicago invites Finishing Contractors andUnion Representatives to come together at beautiful Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, IL. Guests synergize to find solutions to the challenges faced by the Finishing Industries in the Chicagoland area. Mornings are spent in educational and collaborative sessions with afternoons free to play golf, enjoy beautiful Lake Galena and miles of hiking trails, or venture into nearby Galena. Evenings are spent enjoying fine food, drink and camaraderie at Eagle Ridge Resort and nearby establishments.
